WHAT KIND OF PHOTOBOOTH IS THIS?
In the photobooth industry (yes, there really is such a thing!) our booth is what’s called an “open-air” photobooth. Unlike a traditional “enclosed” photobooth - where guests are crowded into a small enclosure - ours is wide open. We use huge backdrops that give your guests plenty of room to move around. We deliver a photobooth experience unlike any other in the area – mobile, flexible, scalable, and hip. And, our photobooth does more than the traditional photobooth. We can do green screen removal, animated GIFs, light painting, slo-mo video, video messages, and face morphing! All touch-screen driven, and in a small footprint that looks really sleek and sexy. It's common at every event to have guests comment on how cool the photobooth looks. So if you're at all concerned about having an ugly, boxy photobooth at your event...don't be!
why don't you list pricing on your website?
Simply put, we like the flexibility it affords us in being able to meet our clients' needs. Did you know that wedding and event venues charge less for their spaces during the week, and more on the weekends? Well, we have the same pricing flexibility. If you want to book us for a Tuesday event at noon, chances are you're going to pay less than the client who wants us for a Saturday night.
Likewise, if your event calls for a fairly simple setup, like just prints with no social media sharing, then guess what? Yep, you're going to pay less than the client who needs multiple photobooths with green screen animated GIFs and multiple social media sharing stations.
If you're looking to hire a photobooth, then you're probably shopping around, comparing prices and quality (hopefully!). Well, every few months we do the same thing. We know who we're competing with for your business. We know what their prices are, and we've seen examples of their work. And here's what we've discovered: our pricing is right in line with the majority of our fellow photoboothers (that's what we call each other), but our quality is much better. Objectively speaking, our quality is much better. Check out this blog post for the specifics - and trust us, if you're shopping around, this is worth your time.
open-air photobooth vs. enclosed photobooth...why should i care?
Simple. More space = more fun! With our open-air photobooths, your guests have more room to move around and create dynamic pictures! And who knows, maybe they can beat the current record for most people in a picture!
Also, we think it’s just plain cool to look at. With a sleek design, and responsive infinity LED lights that change patterns and colors with booth functions, we would never think of hiding this thing behind curtains! Plus, we can color match the LED lights to your event's colors!
And our open-air photobooth helps create a fun, lively environment. Because the action isn’t hidden behind curtains, your guests get to enjoy the booth when they’re in it and when they’re not!
explain this "social media sharing thing" that you offer?
Immediately after a session, your guests can see their images and share them to social media. They can also email and text them. We can also upload directly to a public or private Facebook page without your guests having to do anything. So, if social media exposure is your thing, we've got you covered.
What is a memory book and why do they cost so much?
A memory book is a scrapbook that your guests "build" during the event. Your guests get an extra photo after each session to put into the scrapbook, and then they create a personalized scrapbook page dedicated to the guest(s) of honor. One of the reasons we really like them is because they create a "mini-event" at your event. It gives guests a way to engage in a different type of activity, knowing that they're helping create a wonderful surprise gift for you. At the end of the event, you're presented with a customized, one-of-a-kind scrapbook dedicated to you and your big day!
We use scrapbooks from two exclusive vendors - both support small businesses in the US. And both can be highly customized. We also provide all of the materials - washi tape, pens, glue, etc. And we manage the entire process from start to finish. The biggest challenge in creating a great memory book is getting guests to take the time to actually create the page! We have a dedicated attendant who's only job is to literally walk the guests over to the station, quickly explain why we're doing this, and get them started with their custom creation. We've done enough events where the clients (usually a bride and groom) decided to provide their own scrapbook and not use our services, and the results were disappointing.
I know I want to experience the photobooth at my event, but how do you set up without disturbing our event?
We understand that each event is unique, and that some may require setting up before the event begins. This is where "Idle Time" comes in, and it's easiest explained with an example. Let's say your event runs from 6pm to 10pm. You've booked the photobooth for two hours - from 8pm to 10pm. And you want it set up before the event begins at 6pm. We'll arrive in plenty of time (no charge to you) to set up by 6pm. Then we'll go idle for two hours, until 8pm. Those two hours are "Idle Time" and are charged at a nominal rate.
What if we want to shut down the photobooth during our event, say for dinner or for speeches?
No problem. The same "Idle Time" scenario applies (from above). For example...you've booked the photobooth for four hours, from 6pm to 10pm. You are doing speeches from 7pm to 8pm. We'll close the photobooth to your guests during that time (but it's up to you to make sure they are actually paying attention to the speeches, though!) and charge Idle Time for one hour. Idle Time is charged at a nominal rate.
Can we use the photobooth outdoors?
We'll need access to power (we bring the extension cords) and protection from the elements (wind & rain). We'll talk about the specifics way before the event.
is the photobooth customizable to my event?
Heck, yeah! We have wonderfully talented graphic designers on staff who create custom artwork for your prints, based anything you give us. So if you're getting married, and you have a specific font on your invitations, we can match that font on your prints. Working with specific colors, too? We'll integrate those, as well, and we can also make the LED lights on the Infinite photobooth match! We can even go so far as to create a custom vinyl wrap for the Infinite photobooth.
what about floor space and power requirements?
We need about 8' x 8' x 8' to set up, with access to standard wall power.
Yep. Here it is.
